We were founded by Bob McComsey in1980. An expert in post-frame construction, Bob’s vision was to provide the area with a different kind of construction experience – one that was thoroughly focused on quality, and easier on the client from start to finish. For the past 30 years, we have had the pleasure of working with municipal facilities and operations managers, architects, homeowners and members of the equestrian community to construct a variety of buildings and some of the finest equestrian facilities in the area.
Bob’s integrity and leadership in construction methods and best practices naturally flows throughout the operations, carried forward by all of us with the same high standards, including our valued suppliers and subcontractors. Bob’s no-fuss, easy-to-approach style is a core part of our culture, and one of the reasons our clients say they enjoy working with us, often remarking that McComsey Builders gave them “the most enjoyable construction experience they’ve ever had.”
